Visit our website or connect with us on LinkedIn for more information.We have an employment opportunity for a Maintenance Technician in Montgomery, Alabama, with a pay range of $24.75 - $34.30 per hour.ResponsibilitiesMaintain equipment in a production manufacturing setting by repairing, installing, and servicing machinery, electrical components, and other devices. Must have experience with basic tools and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.Inspect equipment and perform repairs or preventative maintenance as needed, using blueprints and repair manuals.Troubleshoot, install, and replace electrical components such as motors, transformers, breakers, etc., following safety guidelines.Perform mechanical repairs including bearings, conveyors, gears, hydraulic hoses, etc., following manufacturer instructions.Construct, move, install, and adjust plant equipment using appropriate tools, ensuring safety.Log repairs and parts used in the work order management system.Repair spare equipment in the shop as required.Participate in spare parts and supply chain processes, including removal, return, rebuilding, and locating spare parts.Perform facility maintenance tasks like changing lightbulbs, painting, housekeeping, and filter replacements.Troubleshoot machine issues and notify management if additional resources are needed.Support emergency repairs and breakdowns, working over scheduled shifts as needed.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.At least 2 years of relevant work experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or related trades.Technical training in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or related fields preferred.Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including relays, switches, motors, etc.Excellent communication skills.Good vision, coordination, and hearing.Ability to work safely, adhering to safety standards and wearing PPE.Ability to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, kneel, and work in various climates.Ability to operate forklifts and other tools safely.Teamwork skills and ability to prioritize tasks.Additional InformationSeniority level: Not ApplicableEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Management and ManufacturingIndustry: Plastics Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
