Shift 6:30 AM–5:15 PM, Monday–Thursday–Friday as neededPosition SummaryAre you a skilled Maintenance Technician ready to take on more complex challenges and keep high-performance equipment running at its best? We're looking for a Maintenance Technician II to join our team, where you'll play a key role in maintaining our facilities and troubleshooting a variety of tools, machines, and systems.Core FunctionsUtilize advanced knowledge in diagnosing and repairing complex machines, including electrical/PLC, mechanical, welding, machining, hydraulics/pneumatics, and conveyor systems.Operate and maintain custom machines at peak efficiency.Collaborate with engineering to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures, and minimize downtime through data‑driven analysis.Use the maintenance ticket system to create work orders, upload documentation, and update parts as needed.Assist with inventory, cataloging parts inventory, and ordering replacement parts and shop supplies.Rebuild machines, tools, and heavy equipment and create special tools to assist with production.Work on machine programming as needed and help train and teach new machine operators.Troubleshoot machine issues.Maintain a preventive maintenance schedule to reduce downtime potential on machines and processes.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED required.Previous forklift experience required; 2‑3 years of experience preferred.3 years of working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines required.Required LicensesCompletion of related technical training program, certification, degree, or journeyman apprenticeship preferred.Skills, Abilities, And KnowledgeBasic computer skills, ability to perform arithmetic with various units of measure.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.TravelNone.CompetenciesAdapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; handles frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.Follows instructions, responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments; commits to long hours when necessary to reach goals; completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; pursues training and development opportunities; builds knowledge and skills; shares expertise with others.Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; participates in meetings.Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively; reads and interprets written information.Supervisor ResponsibilitiesIndividual Contributor: working team member with no oversight of others and no management responsibilities.Physical RequirementsHeavy work: exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Physical ActivitiesClimbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, crawling, and repetitive motions.Visual AcuityRequires visual acuity to perform activities such as operating machines like lathes, drill presses, power saws, and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach, performing mechanical or skilled trades' tasks of a non‑repetitive nature such as carpenters, technicians, service people, plumbers, painters, mechanics, etc.Working ConditionsSubject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including heat, noise, vibration, and hazards from a production‑based environment.Perks That Go The Extra MileGreat benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, company‑paid life insurance and disability, a 401(k) with company match (eligible first month after you start), wellbeing days and parental leave, educational reimbursement, referral bonuses, and exclusive employee discounts on RealTruck products.#J-18808-Ljbffr
