Job Overview: The Security Dispatcher is responsible for communication between the casino and security officers. The dispatcher is the "go-to person" for the entire facility, serving as the communication hub, help desk, and general receptionist for back‑of‑the‑house. Contact comes via radio, telephone, window access, and walk‑in. This position involves a high level of guest contact and customer service.ScheduleWind Creek Hospitality Security Teams operate 24/7. Days/shifts are assigned to meet organizational needs and are subject to change. Positions include weekend and holiday shifts.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnswer phones and radio messages for medical/EMT responses, place any 911 calls, log the call, time, and description, and acquire useful camera coverage where possible.Control the radio net and direct responses according to procedures.Screens all non‑team members and verifies authorization to gain entry into BOH.Work in a stressful environment.Ensure visitors and vendors sign in/out and issue/retrieve a temporary badge.Ensure all team members, vendors, or others are authorized to enter the facility.Operate various applications and possess knowledge of computer functions.Monitor multiple radios at all times from different internal departments, including multiple phones.Receive messages and direct message intent according to procedure.Monitor CCTV cameras.Accept and log lost and found items, including items from hotel rooms.Maintain fleet vehicles: control keys and record required entries on the activity log.Maintain controlled keys and document issue/receive according to procedure.Monitor alarms on the annunciation panel and make proper notifications according to procedures.Coordinate EMS, local law enforcement, managers, security officers, and the general population of the casino with response to emergencies and notifications.Have good organizational skills.Make record of events and activities.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required, or currently enrolled and will complete a GED program within 6 months of start date as a condition of continued employment.Must be 21 years of age or older.One year of experience in law enforcement, corrections, or other security dispatch capacity preferred.Proficient user of Microsoft Word; must achieve at least 70% on a skills test.Excellent writing and verbal communication skills; must achieve at least 70% on a skills test.All candidates are required to participate in a panel interview and may be asked to demonstrate required skills through realistic job preview role‑play scenarios.Experience in customer relations or guest services.Must complete/pass TIPS and Title#31 training as a condition of employment.Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required.Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license).Must be willing and able to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment.EEO StatementNATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PREFERENCE IN HIRING POLICY SHALL BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMES.Complaints about the recruitment or selection process for employment should be directed in writing to the office of the President and CEO of Wind Creek Hospitality.#J-18808-Ljbffr
